“…a glorious one off strutting her stuff to be seen.”

Saw this show in a preview at the Museum of Comedy in London when Tammer had not quite mastered her spiel and relied on a friend in the audience to prompt her occasionally which led to one or two routines not getting finished, but by the time she takes to the stage in Edinburgh all should be well. Behind the resident alien is a Jewish girl from Leeds – Ee by gum meets Oi Veh as it were – who has a story to tell about going to New York and becoming a stand-up which is funny, pulls no punches and tells rather more about female problems than some might wish to hear. She is great at seizing on someone in the audience – the man next to me got tormented, some sisters in front approved of – and while 2.30 in the afternoon is an early slot for material more suited to sometime in the evening with a drink or two consumed, she should be unmissable. Not going to spoil the act by revealing any more – a glorious one off strutting her stuff to be seen. She needs to work on the Slovenian cleaning lady stint – a friend of Melania – but it is a great idea. She is as she is – extraordinary
