Northern Broadsides are publishing two of Blake Morrison's Greek tragedy adaptations.Probably best known for their Northern voiced productions of Shakespeare, Halifax-based theatre company Northern Broadsides have also staged new work and new translations of classics, made by North of England poets. Greek tragedies, particularly, have featured in the Broadsides' repertoire.

Two of these, Sophocles' Antigone and Oedipus by Blake Morrison (also responsible for Broadsides' hilarious version of Kleist's 19th century German comedy The Cracked Pot), are published together in one volume, at £7.70 including post and packing.

Both scripts have passed the test of working in performance, and both productions received critical approval.
