A blusterous, gusterous and dusterous show!

A great opportunity to take your little ‘uns to see the classic stories of Hairy Maclary and his canine friends come to life on a stage setting.

The audience participation – on the part of the adults and the kids they have accompanied! – is a great tribute to how Nonsense Room Productions. There is clapping, singing and stamping your feet in abundance. The repetition and the rhymes appeal to the ear – and so the young ones (regardless of whether they are already familiar with the tales or not) soon catch on and sing along.

The show is interspersed with a range of “tails” about the various dogs – and this narrative provides a loose structure to the show so we can follow the tales.

It is good to know that the Nonsense Room Productions website is also selling a CD of the Hairy Maclary and Friends UK Stage show 2011. It features 9 tracks and lasts 30 minutes. A great present for Hairy Maclary fans available on www.nonsenseroom.co.uk. At the showings themselves, books, posters and CDs are available to buy – so have the little ‘uns raid their piggy banks and purchase to their hearts’ content.
