RSC, the WITCH, and a Warwick University Boot Camp

Rare chance to see THE WITCH (Middleton) in an unusual RSC collaboration: just one performance - at just £2.50.The RSC is combining with Warwick University's English and Drama departments to produce one performance of Middleton's play. Students will work at the RSC for five full days in what the RSC are calling 'Raw Recruits for the Boot Camp'. Boot Camp or not students will be receiving their short, sharp shocks from a range of RSC experts among them, Andrew Wade (Voice), Paul Clarke (Design), Declan Donnellan and Greg Doran (Directors). The extended workshop is to be directed by Heather Davies and will culminate in just one performance on Thursday 12 September at 2.30.

Middleton's play shows all the signs of his wild imagination it's a heady mixture of love, murder, comedy, ritual and, of course, witchcraft. The production of the play itself fits within the Swan's wider framework of Elizabethan/ Jacobean discovery plays. A rare opportunity to see this intriguing work.

And at bargain prices too all tickets £2.50 from the RSC box office 0870 609 1110.
